MISSION STATEMENT

Your Enhanced Space (Y.E.S.) isn’t about me...it’s about you. It’s about YOUR home, YOUR space and YOUR project. It’s about YOUR money you’re about to spend on your project and the enhancements you’re seeking to undertake, and my process is to listen and guide you to help you attain what you want for your space improvements as opposed to pushing something on you or someone else pushing something on you. Amidst a sea of tricksters and pushy salespeople in the LA market I differentiate from them by listening, guiding, and providing you a step-by-step outline for ME and YOU to control your enhancements.

OUR STORY

With over 25 years in commercial and industrial construction projects in my background, my wife and I moved to Los Angeles for a new sector in Telecom and during my first year I witnessed a contractor hired to build an ADU, fail on almost every level; communication, sincerity, quality and customer service. But this contractor was still successful in sales. I said to myself that I could do it better than that and I quit a 22 year career to pursue serving Home Owner customers instead of Telecom provider customers. In just three years, the bulk of my work is already return or referral customers because of applying my guiding principles to an industry fraught with chaos and disorganization. My goal and success is not without problems, but it seeks to minimize the chaos and so far, so good. My wife Lynda is my high school sweetheart and with a professional career as a bookkeeper and project manager that handles the back office, together we share values and loyalty that surpass most others.

My name is Russ, and I’ve been in construction and project management for nearly 30 years. The last several years have been directly in the Los Angeles vicinity in the Home Improvement sector; an industry ripe with seasoned Salespeople who know very little about actual construction. My consulting service is founded on the premise of providing homeowners quality customer service. Looking to redo your yards? Remodel your bathroom or kitchen? New roof or driveway? Customer Service

At Y.E.S., we believe that every thought or action that takes place regarding a contract and home improvement must pass through a thought process of serving the customer. The end result of this process culminates in a good experience for the customer that represents the Y.E.S. brand and any partnership brands. Y.E.S. believes in this so that a brand of success is built on referrals and return customers.

Ownership Mindset

An ownership mindset is a mentality where people take responsibility for their actions, decisions, and outcomes, and feel empowered to make decisions that lead to those outcomes. It involves viewing one’s own role and responsibilities as if they were the business owner. In the Home Improvement contractor and subcontractor market, my role is to bridge those gaps between customer’s projects and workers.

Quality

Y.E.S. believes that partnerships with contractors includes the contractor and subcontractors' abilities to embrace the overall guiding principles as they all apply to quality. The service results in a product. The product should reflect quality. In the Home Improvement contractor and subcontractor market, my role is to bridge those gaps between customer’s projects and workers.

Communication

Y.E.S. believes that communication is critical to success. Clear and regular communication is critical to managing expectations, through partnerships, subcontractors and customers. Contractor partnerships understand that daily subcontractor communication for scheduling, arrival, departure and completion of daily tasks is key to success in customer service, quality, budget and maintaining a clear record of keeping jobs on schedule which plays into managing customer service expectations. In the Los Angeles Home Improvement market, this is the most challenging of all aspects and my role is to bridge those gaps.

Sincerity

At Y.E.S. we believe that sincerity is the key to sales and project management in our model. In other’s sales, making the initial sale is the only goal and most times there is little to no sincerity in that process and little to no regard as to the outcome of product. Y.E.S. sincerity is reflected in the initial meetings, the actual contract language and throughout the duration of the project. At Y.E.S. we’re less interested in customers that “want to be sold” as we prefer to take on customers that are seeking trust. The Home Improvement construction market is already stressful enough as it is; being sincere alleviates another whole layer of stresses that can be avoided.
